The new design matches the design language that the company has been promoting with Windows 11, which includes rounded corners for the frame and ribbon menus and a clean and clear style with monoline iconography and a neutral color palette. The new interface is simply a coat of paint on top of the old interface. The new visuals were revealed earlier this year, and Microsoft is now pushing the update to Microsoft 365 subscribers and Office 2021 users.
